What we make
Everything is made to order, so this is a list of what Jepara workshops do well rather than a catalogue. If you have a design, we can usually find the workshop for it.
Dining
Tables, chairs, benches and sideboards. Solid tops, slab tops and extending tables.
Restaurants, hotels, homes
Cabinets and storage
Sideboards, TV and media units, bookcases, wardrobes, display cabinets.
Retail, residential projects
Seating
Lounge chairs, sofas with teak frames, bar stools.
Hospitality, retail
Bedroom
Beds, headboards, bedside tables, dressers.
Hotel rooms, residential
Outdoor teak
Loungers, garden sets, poolside furniture. Teak weathers outdoors without paint.
Resorts, villas, retail
Carved and ceremonial pieces
Altars, prayer tables, carved panels and screens, made to the tradition you specify.
Homes, temples, collectors
Drawings show the kind of piece, not a specific past order.
Wood
- Teak
- The default for outdoor pieces and for anything that should last decades. Plantation teak from Java.
- Mahogany
- Cheaper than teak and good for indoor furniture that will be painted, stained or upholstered.
- Reclaimed teak
- Timber from old buildings and boats. Every piece looks different, which suits some projects and not others.
